Food Bank of the Golden Crescent

The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent is currently serving 90 plus agencies and churches, as a central clearing house which solicits, collects and stores edible salvaged and surplus foods. The food is distributed to non-profit, tax-exempt agencies that provide meals or emergency food to needy, elderly, or sick clients without charge. In 2006, 3,424,240 pounds of food was distributed to charitable agencies. Food went to the hungry who needed it.
