Gulf Bend Center

Gulf Bend Center is a agency of the state of Texas that specializes in serving the serious and persistent mentally ill including persons with major depression, bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia. The Center also addresses the needs of persons with developmental disabilities by providing long-term care and support that enables them to live with dignity in their community as opposed to an institution. The Center serves on average 735 adults with mental illness, over 200 children with mental illness and 150 persons with mental retardation each month in Victoria County and four neighboring counties.
