South Texas Assessment & Referral Services (STARS), formerly known as Child Study Clinic, has served the Victoria County area for 43 years, focusing on Children with special health care needs. The clinic does not treat or see any well babies. STARS provides the following services:

•   Neuro-developmental evaluations
•   Preemie developmental clinics
•   Nutritional support
•   Coordination of care
•   Specialists/therapy referral
•   Synagis administration (injection that is a preventative for   the RSV infection)
