Victoria Adult Literacy

The mission of the Victoria Adult Literacy Council is to increase adult literacy through free instruction and community outreach in order to improve the workforce and raise the quality of the life in the Victoria area. Tutors work with the educationally deprived to improve their skills in order to enhance the participant's self concept so they may become more productive citizens in the workface and also be able to help their children not only with school, but life skills.
